Caroline and I decided to try our hand at booking flights. It was impossible to find a place stateside where we could meet to do the international leg together. We were on the phone together for over an hour, both looking at flights from our home airports, and not seeing anything that would work.

I’ve had good luck in the past using AAA for travel arrangements, but this time, I couldn’t even get a phone call back! Caroline was able to find a very responsive agent happy to help us do everything but the flights 🙁. I don’t know how long Caroline spent researching the flights, but she finally found a way for us to meet at Dulles, so we quickly booked and sent our info to our travel agent Jenna. She gave us fabulous hotel recommendations and tour ideas, so we are now logistically ready.
